Jason! We haven’t seen each other in years, and yet I’m so sad to know you’re leaving. Thank you so much for the recommendations while I was in Italy. My husband is working on his Spanish citizenship as well, and in 2026, we have a year of living in Spain planned. We’ll be traveling all over Europe and you may receive an unexpected WhatsApp message to get together for dinner! Take care and manage those nervous breakdowns! (I get one before we even travel EVERY time, so I’m terrified of the move to Spain, even though it won’t be permanent.) Good luck and I hope to see you soonish in Italy!
I have always adored you, Lady B! Grazie for the kind words. The fear feels real, but I keep reminding myself that it's mostly an illusion created by the ego. What are we here for but to leap forward, grow, experience, and challenge ourselves? My children are losing creature comforts but gaining independence and empowerment. My extended family is losing proximity but gaining purposeful communication and intimacy. We haven't even taxied down the runway yet the transformations are already rippling through the Tesaurosphere. Andiamooooooo!

Im ok, You’re ok! I am perhaps still in shock because your departure has never seemed real. I’m going to wake up and we will be pouring Barboursville wine together somewhere. But alas, you’re leaving is real. I will, we will miss you terribly. All the moments are cherished. You will soon be making new memories and experiencing everything life offers you.
